ISPAD is proud to support the League Of Diathletes (LOD) Global Training Programme of patient advocates with type 1 diabetes that will be held during the ISPAD 2020 Virtual Conference!
Join its symposium on Sunday October 18 at 8:30 CDT to share the perspectives of people around the world living with type 1 diabetes who lead unique community support projects in their local areas and connect with diabetes HCP.
The three sessions in #T1DGlobal20 include:
- Patient Association Roundtable: sharing the initiatives across continents to support local diabetes communities, the challenges experienced, and outcomes achieved during the COVID-19 Pandemic
- LOD Advocates Panel: voices living with type 1 diabetes worldwide who want to see the approach to diabetes education and healthcare grow more relatable
- Keynote Lecture by Speaker Dr Sana Ajmal from Pakistan, who has battled to become a qualified health professional against the stigma and misconceptions of her condition.
